Johnny Depp as a fashion icon honored by the Council of Fashion Designers of America
Johnny Depp's unique sense of style made him the
fashion icon award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which will
give honor to their annual gala in June. CFDA president Diane Von
Furstenberg and Steven Kolb CEO details of the awards announced on Wednesday,
14 March. "This year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the CFDA, we can
see that a critical role in the CFDA Fashion Awards continue to play in our efforts
to promote American fashion," said Kolb told the press. The awards
ceremony, with comedian Seth Meyers as master of ceremonies will be held on
June 4 at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Alice Tully Hall in New
York.
